Press Release: For more than four decades, the Nike Pegasus has served runners worldwide with its beloved dependability. The Nike Pegasus 41 delivers on the soft, responsive ride that the Pegasus franchise is known for while advancing its innovative technology and features.

Much of the praise for the Pegasus line is thanks to Nike’s unmatched combination of proprietary Air Zoom units and foams. New to this year’s model is a full-length Nike ReactX foam midsole, which provides over 13 percent more energy return compared to the Nike React foam in the Pegasus 40. The introduction of ReactX foam unlocks a responsive sensation and helps reduce Nike’s carbon footprint. Compared to React foam, ReactX is engineered to cut down the carbon footprint of creating a pair of midsoles by at least 43 percent, thanks to reduced energy in the manufacturing process. To complete the plush cushioning system, the Pegasus 41 has Air Zoom units in the forefoot and the heel.

The Pegasus line is also known for its reliable fit. During extensive research, Nike designers listened to the voice of everyday runners and focused on making the upper in the Pegasus 41 more comfortable. The upper is made of an engineered mesh that’s now lighter, more breathable and more comfortable than previous models. The shoe’s Dynamic Midfoot Fit system ties the lacing directly to an internal midfoot band wrapping around the entire foot for complete support. Both a signal of Nike’s innovation supercycle and proof of the power of its proprietary Air, the Pegasus 41 embodies the company’s ability to listen to and serve athletes.

Unique to the Pegasus line is its family of silhouettes, each serving a distinct running need, ability or terrain. For example, the Pegasus EasyOn is designed for athletes of all abilities, featuring a collapsible heel and toggle lacing system that allows athletes to easily slip in and out of their shoes. Other silhouettes include the Nike Pegasus Trail 5, the Nike Trail Pegasus Trail Gore-Tex® and the Nike Pegasus Winter Gore-Tex®.

The Nike Pegasus 41 releases in June 2024 on nike.com and at select retailers.
