In this hands-on class, kids can design and build a clay project from start to finish. They'll mold their own piece, glaze it and watch their creation come to life. Classes are for ages 6 to 17.
Painting Madness
2 of 9Painting is a way for kids to be creative and develop critical thinking skills. The class introduces children to mixing colors and applying different painting techniques to a project. Kids will learn about color value, the color wheel and famous painters such as Vincent van Gogh and Georges Seurat. They'll learn how to splash paint across the canvas and have a finished piece of artwork they are proud to share. Classes are for ages 4 to 13.
Piano Keyboard for Beginners
3 of 9Learning how to play a musical instrument can benefit your child in many ways. Playing an instrument can improve hand-eye coordination and improve reading and comprehension skills. Designed for kids with no previous experience, this class will teach children the basics and fundamentals of piano. Classes are for ages 6 to 12.
Musical Theater
4 of 9This two-week workshop teaches kids how to become a "triple-threat" – a singer, dancer and actor. Kids will benefit from learning all three disciplines and improve their communication skills, coordination and creativity. Kids will work together to create their own production, and at the end of the workshop they'll showcase their work to an audience. Classes are for ages 11 to 17.
Mad Scientist
5 of 9Conducting experiments is the best way to make science fun for kids. This camp offers kids a wide variety of hands-on activities to get them excited about science. They will use the lab like crime scene investigators, make exploding Mentos geysers and more. Classes are split in to two age groups to ensure experiments are safe and age appropriate. Classes are for children in grades kindergarten through sixth.
Lego Flix
6 of 9What kid doesn't have fun playing with Legos? Lego Flix takes building with Legos to the next level by adding stop motion. Kids will create Lego sets and characters for their own movie, which they will storyboard, write and video. All of the movies are professionally edited and sent to families a month after the project is complete. This activity is for ages 7 to 13.
Kids in the Kitchen
7 of 9If your children are always asking to help in the kitchen, signing them up for a cooking class is something they are sure to love. With Kids in the Kitchen, children learn kid-friendly recipes they can do on their own or with a little help from parents. They'll learn how to mix, measure and follow a recipe, plus try all the delicious treats they create.
Reading Rascals
8 of 9Whether your child loves reading or needs a little extra push to open a book, reading clubs can help him or her develop essential skills while having fun. The class features both group and individual activities that help develop reading comprehension, creative writing and storytelling. Classes are offered for beginner and intermediate level readers ages 4 to 10.
