About this event
Explore the endless possibilities and approaches to monotype printmaking. During this weekend workshop, participants will learn how to create a matrix using additive, subtractive and trace techniques as well as a combination of all three. Experimenting with manipulating inks on the surface of plexiglass and play with separating and layering colors. Use a variety of tools and materials to create rich and exciting prints! Participants will also learn how to print objects as well as explore how to use your body as a tool to remove ink from the plate. This workshop is perfect for both introductory and advanced artists.
