The Committee for the Great Salt Pond’s second youth swim, The Great Salt Pond Youth Swim -2025 will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 on Block Island, Rhode Island. This will be a (1/4) mile swim starting at Andy’s Way Beach, swimming out toward Beane Point, and returning to Andy’s Way Beach. The swimmer registration fee for this event is $30.00, and on-line registration opens on October 1, 2024. The swim course is in a protected area with not much chop. In addition, the swim will take place along a straight line, marked by buoys. This swim is an annual fundraiser, serving to support our efforts to protect The Great Salt Pond. On-Line Registration for the event opens on October 1, 2024 and will close on July 25, 2025 at 1:00 pm. On-Site Registration will be available this year.
