What you'll be doing: The mission of Hospitality House is to rebuild lives and strengthen community by providing a safe, nurturing, healthy environment in which individuals and families experiencing homelessness and poverty-related crises are equipped to become self-sufficient and productive. We will be serving at the Hospitality House in whatever capacity they need. This often includes serving dinner, working in the garden, and helping with cleaning/ organizing around the organization. It is important to remember that this is where many people call home and receive their meals for the day. With this in mind, it is crucial to remain respectful of everyone and everything while we are there. What to bring: - Water - Snack - CLOSED toe shoes - Open mind and willingness to serve others - Bring any food you would like to donate (sliced bread, dairy products, salad dressings and cereal are always in high demand)
