Dirt to Dinner is a delectable summer camp inviting kids on a culinary adventure from ingredients to plate. Campers will explore the art of cooking through hands-on experiences, interactive sessions, and tasty creations. From crafting mouthwatering dishes to discovering flavor combinations, this camp is a flavorful journey celebrating the joy of food. Join Dirt to Dinner for a delightful week where kids can indulge their taste buds, embrace creativity in the kitchen, and develop a lifelong love for the culinary arts!On Friday, both the senior and junior camps will enjoy an end of week hot dog and beach party together at Pebbly Beach!
OFF ISLAND ADVENTURES:
Tuesday: Bon Macaron: Don’t just watch the action, get in there and make your own! You choose the flavour and the Chefs help you through all the steps. From piping technique to batter folding.
Wednesday: Tour Endswell Farm’s thriving market gardens, harvest vegetables for a fresh handmade salad, and cook organic farm meat over a fire with Chef Jonah! After the farm, experience the ultimate Bowen summer activity: JUMPING OFF MOUNT GARDENER DOCK!
Thursday: Young chefs will create their own hand-crafted pizzas (rolling out their organic dough & adding their favourite toppings) at Rocky Mountain Flatbreads Pizza on Main Street.
REMEMBER TO BRING:
Lunch, easy to access snacks, water bottle, sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, lifejacket if needed (required for children ages 7 and under).
Do not bring: money, toys from home, electronics.
