5.30 Brighton 2025 event
Brighton • New Road Brighton, United Kingdom BN1 1BN Organized by 5.30 Events LtdAbout this event
We’ll send your reminder 2 days before this event closes so you don’t miss out.
You will no longer receive email alerts about this activity.
We're excited for the 5.30 team to bring their lifestyle event concept to Brighton once more, with the intention of having even more people take part.
In the early morning of Friday 11th July, hundreds of participants will take to the streets of Brighton whilst the city is still asleep. The unique 5.3km course will start from New Road, pass through the Lanes, along the seafront and back for a glorious finish through the Royal Pavillion Gardens.
At the end of the event, participants will enjoy a healthy breakfast with local seasonal fruits.
We are allowing slightly more entries than 2024 due to unprecidented demand but once they're gone, they're gone!
A BIT OF HISTORY
5.30 was created by designer Sergio Bezzanti and nutritionist Sabrina Severi in Modena, Italy in 2009. The idea was to promote a healthy lifestyle through regular physical activity and eating well.
The 5.3k walk/run happens at 5.30 in the morning of a business day in the city centre. Run 5.30 is an event that encourages positive emotions and aims at improving the quality of life of its participants by:
- Increasing their awareness of the benefits of exercising and eating healthy foods
- Showing that an earlier start of the day allows to fit in exercise without impacting the working day
- Allowing to experience the city in a brand new (early morning) light
- Making exercise fun and interactive with a really positive group of people encouraging each other
BUT... WHY AT 5.30 IN THE MORNING?
- to promote daily physical activity
- because the day is always so busy
- to discover the city in a unique light
- because a little movement helps the start of the day
- because there is no traffic
- because it does not steal family time
- because the course is short and accessible to all
- because it won't affect your weekend plans
- because you get to eat delicious fresh fruit
- because it takes very little to be happy!
WHAT DO I RECEIVE WITH THE ENTRY?
- exclusive Run 5.30 tour t-shirt 100% cotton
- fresh seasonal fruits refreshment + water
- Run 5.30 medal
- free download of the event pictures
- free download of the post-event magazine
- ... and the opportunity to live an experience to remember!
CHARITY PARTNER
5.30 Brighton will donate £1 for each entry to Sussex-based children's charity Rockinghorse.
5.30 MERCHANDISE
Following feedback received in both Brighton and Nottingham at the 2024 events, we are producing a limited number of 5.30 t shirts in a technical fabric, which some people may prefer to cotton. These are available to purchase upon entry.
