Welcome to the MORE 10th anniversary program for Fall 2024! Classes and events begin Friday 4 October and run through Friday 22 November, with the usual week-long break – near the end of October. There is also a break for election day. Otherwise there are 52 classes and three events from which to choose. Nearly 50% of the courses are completely new, with another 34% revised from prior offerings – to ensure the program remains fresh and viable. As in previous sessions, a selection of Zoom-hybrid classes is available for those housebound or out of town. In recognition of the anniversary, MORE is permanently returning to its original home at the University Center (UC), which offers outstanding facilities. MORE attendees both new and experienced will appreciate the new high-capacity main lecture hall which offers a great combination of comfortable tiered seating at tables coupled with easy access. Everyone is sure to love this new arrangement! More good news: for the first time, the MORE program is offering an unlimited class package! Designed for those who wish to take a larger number of classes while also having flexibility in their schedule, this new package works as follows: • Register for the package and initially specifiy at least 14 classes or event-equivalents. • For no extra charge (except for event surcharges), additional classes may be added up to a week before class time as long as the class has open capacity. • Priced at only $120, the unlimited package offers the combination of very attractive pricing coupled with great class attendance flexibility! Even more good news: in response to some busy attendees, the mainstream minimum package has been reduced to seven classes and offered at the very attractive price of only $56. And to celebrate return to the UC, MORE’s historical 10-class package (still priced at $75) has been reinstated, and first-time attendees may select a three-class trial package as well.
