| Hi everyone. First, I would like to thank you for visiting my site. This is my first shot at this but it is something I have been wanting to do for several years now. I am going to be running in the Music City Marathon in April '08. I have established a relationship with an organization called Soldier's Angels. They have devoted themselves to the men and women fighting overseas as well as those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. They are excited to have me run the event in their name. I will be collecting donations that will go directly to them. They distribute thousands of care packages and letters to soldiers serving in the toughest war our world has seen. Soldier's Angels does SO MUCH for deployed soldiers as well as wounded soldiers. They are even helping amputees by sending laptops with voice recognition software!!! That extra change in your pocket is just a small way to say "thank you" to our brave men and women who gave up everything they had to make sure we sleep peacefully at night.
I would venture to say that all of you at one point in your life have known a soldier who has had to leave their family so they could fight for our country. Here is an opportunity for all of us to give some small something back which can make a huge difference in the life of a US Veteran. Whether you give one dollar or one hundred, we can make a difference together.
