| The McAuley Run for Hope 5k raises funds for a scholarship that enables young women to benefit from the wonderful education provided at Catherine McAuley High School. The scholarship and run were established in memory of Jim & Maxine Pouravelis, two vibrant members of the CMHS community. The scholarship and run provides financial assistance to young
women seeking a McAuley education, an education Jim and Maxine saw as essential to the intellectual, athletic and spiritual development of young women.
As one scholarship recipient stated, “McAuley allowed me to grow in my own
faith, to pursue knowledge, and to value a
community. McAuley has made me who I am."
