Welcome to my Hike for Discovery home page! Thanks so much for taking the time to visit. Many of you visited my previous website while I was fundraising for my first Hike for Discovery event in Kauai.......thanks again for your generous contributions! Just to refresh you about the program, it is called Hike For Discovery. While we are training to hike in Yosemite this June we are also raising money that will aid in finding a cure for Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma.
The first event was so amazing and inspirational to me that I have decided to return this season as a mentor! I will be there to help and support my team from the beginning all the way up to the event! This program is really wonderful for so many reasons. I love that I get to wake up early every Saturday morning to hit the trail, but even more I love being a part of this wonderful cause. Every single dollar donated truly makes a difference - .75 of each and every dollar goes directly to research and patient services. Because of this research we have made HUGE strides in this fight for the cure. More than 712,000 Americans are battling these blood cancers. Your support of my participation in Hike For Discovery will help bring them hope and support.
