One of these people is this year’s Regatta Chairman, Ian Charles. Ian is an elite tri-athlete, father, and was a sailor in the 2007 Regatta. Shortly after completing the event he was diagnosed with cancer and redoubled his resolve to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Along those lines, I am excited to be pursuing my long time ambition of learning to sail and truly look forward to hitting the water with you someday soon. **I am one step closer having passed the first level of certification.
