Angela Schmidt & Smashing Katie Go To Rome To Cure Cancer

Enter our raffle to give away $1000 on Leap Day, Feb 29, 2008

Heading to the gym to run. . .this is dedication folks.

Greetings to friends, family, and supporters of a really great cause!

I am training to participate in the Rome Marathon on March 16 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. And yes, I am prepared to enjoy great wine, admire Italian men, and view some of the world's finest art and architecture. But the more important reason why I am going is to help raise money to cure cancer.

All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. And I'm completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

Best of all, I am proud to mix business with pleasure. As Queen Bee & Big Cheese of SmashingKatie.com, I am hosting a raffle to give away over $1000 on Leap Day, February 29, 2008. You can learn more about us at www.smashingkatie.com or in the February 11, 2008 issue of TIME Magazine, on stands Feb 1.

We are going all or nothing with the prizes. You can win big here folks:
** $600 Giftcard to Smashing Katie.com
** $350 Giftcard at PKCycling.com
** Subversive Cross Stitch Notecards from Smashing Katie

Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission.

Be sure to check back frequently to see our progress. While our minimum is $4800, our goal is a whopping $10,000. Thank you again for your support and best wishes to you and yours,

Angie Schmidt & The Entire Crew at Smashing Katie
