| Harkness House Veterans Homeless Shelter |

| The Harkness House is a Columbus House initiative that supports homeless Veterans. It provides housing and services for male Veterans in a safe and supportive environment.The goals of Harkness House are to: provide residential stability, encourage increased skill levels, foster self-determination, facilitate community reintegration.
Veterans can live at the house for up to two years as they address the causes of their homelessness. The house is divided into apartments where the men will live together and receive support from both trained staff and each other.
Free entry to the Branford Road Race for those who raise $100 or more for the Harkness House. Once you have reached $100 or more please email jody.jbsports@snet.net for the password to register for the race free of charge. |
