McGaw YMCA For the Love of Pickleball Tournament - Women's 3.5TEAM (one registration per pair)Women is defined as two female/non-binary identifying partners.Confirm your player rating here (3.0, 3.5, or 4.0)>
Join the battle of the paddles in this unsanctioned friendly tournament open to players of all ages (14+) and abilities.
Tournament highlights:
- Multiple divisions: Open 3.0, Mixed 3.5, Women's 3.5, Men's 3.5 and Open 4.0. View all divisions here.
- 5-game guarantee
- 3 hours in and out - back-to-back games
- Free child care available for ages 3-10 (serves Open 3.0, Mixed 3.5, and Women's 3.5)
- Tax deductible: All proceeds benefit sports scholarships for underserved community youth to enjoy healthy recreational team sporting environments.
- Cookies and Valentine's Day snacks for when hunger strikes!
- Free 3-day guest pass for non-members to experience McGaw Y pickleball facility in advance of tournament.
Format and Function:
- 3 round robin games, followed by single elimination playoffs/consolation games
- Games to 11 win by 2 or a maximum of 20 minutes (No time limit during playoffs.)
- Results submitted into DUPR system
- Games played in McGaw YMCA SLC Gym
- Penn Indoor Balls
Keep in mind:
- The Y is for community. Thank you for upholding our core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
- Registration is by team.
- Individuals may register here and will be paired if space and a partner are available. Refunds will be issued if no match is achieved.
- Teams must register according to the level of the most skilled partner.
- Any team deemed to have registered for an inappropriate level will forfeit their games and may be prohibited from future events.
Scheduling:
- Check-in starts at 5:30pm.
- Group games start at 5:50pm, 6:15pm and 6:40pm.
- Playoffs/consolation games start at 7:05pm and 7:30pm
- Championship game starts at 7:55pm.
Registration is open until filled or until February 3, whichever comes first. Tournament format may vary by total enrollment.
Registration is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
