Description
Have you experienced the deliciousness of mouthwatering empanadas? These handheld Latin American pastries, filled with either savory or sweet ingredients are a great addition to your summer table. Join Chef Jennifer and learn how to create fantastic and creative empanadas. The class will cover the preparation of both savory turnovers filled with corn and beans, as well as sweet empanadas with cherry filling. All of the recipes are designed to be gluten-free, dairy-free, and free of refined sugar.
Chef Jennifer Dominguez is a holistic and culinary nutritionist who studied holistic nutrition at the Washington Institute of Natural Medicine and earned a culinary nutrition certificate from the Academy of Culinary Nutrition.
This is an in-person hands-on class. Participants will work with the chef instructor in our kitchen to prepare the recipes listed in the class description. Everyone will then get to enjoy these recipes together.
