You will need:
Empty egg carton (pressed paper or cardboard only)
Cut out individual egg cups and fill each with soil. Following the instructions on the seed packet, bury your seed in the dirt and pack it in with the defined amount of water.
Set your egg cup in a safe place, away from family pets and potential hazards. Be sure to place it in a place that receives some sun if your seed packet calls for a sunny environment.
When growth begins, venture outdoors to find a safe place to plant your egg cup. Dig a small, egg cup-sized hole and carefully plant your it into the ground. There is no need to go back for the egg cup; pressed paper and cardboard are biodegradable.
