About This Activity
In this 1 day Beginner Fencing class just for women, participants will fence with actual fencing equipment (non-electric). You can expect, fun, positive energy, and encouragement as you learn something challenging and rewarding. Activities will include instruction on how to get into competitive or recreational fencing shape and will focus on the concepts of fighting: distance, timing, and execution of more complicated fencing actions. History of fencing, Olympic Fencing, and competitive vs. recreational fencing will be discussed. Dress code: tennis shoes, t-shirt, shorts or sweatpants(preferred)
