Cincinnati Beer Run 2024

It's a Party! We'll provide the beer! Every half mile you'll be treated to a specialty craft-beer sampling. Once you've made it through the 2.5 mile course, we'll welcome you at the after party with your choice of a 16oz beer. We'll continue the party with music, food, and plenty of drink all while helping to benefit a local charity.
That's not all! Every participant receives a 16oz Cincinnati Beer Run glass and an authentic Cincinnati Beer Run themed t-shirt, included with a paid registration. Additional glasses and shirts are available for purchase.
*Please note that all participants must be 21 years of age or older as of October 26, 2024. Age verification will be strictly enforced. All sales are final.
Event details and schedule
Event Start Time:
Hofbräuhaus will open at 8:00 AM. The run will start at 10:00 AM on Third St. near the Purple People Bridge entrance. (The race starts on Third Street and NOT the Purple People Bridge.)
Please note, all packets will be picked up on event day - no advance packet pickup.
You will need to pick up your packet at Hofbräuhaus. Go inside the main entrance (not through the Bier Garten) and to your right into the back room. A volunteer will direct you. We encourage you to arrive no later than 9:00 AM. Hofbräuhaus opens at 8:00 AM with a full bar and breakfast buffet available. Once you are checked-in, please make your way to the starting line about 9:40 AM. The starting line is on Third St. You'll see starting banners.
After Party:
The after-party is at Hofbräuhaus. It is here that you will receive your 16oz beer and CBR special Halloween colored cup. Please note this year, these cups change colors with cold liquids for Halloween - so the cups this year are a hard-plastic reusable 16oz cup. Give your bib tear-off to a bartender for a beer of your choice. Also, Hofbräuhaus is opening the gates of the Biergarten and allowing access to their back-parking lot.
The Run/Walk and Beer Stops:
Each participant is limited to one (1) beer sample per stop. Once you make it past a beer stop there are trash bags. Please dispose of your cup in the trash bins. Beer stops are all Hofbräuhaus Biers as follows: 1) Lager, 2) Dunkel, 3) Oktoberfest, & 4) Hefeweizen.
Gluten Free Beer:
If you require gluten free beer, please do not take the beer that is on the table. Let a volunteer know you need gluten free and they will personally pour you a gluten free beer in a cup. We are NOT responsible for any gluten allergies arising out of our event.
Purchased Merchandise or Extras:
If you purchased extra merchandise or are receiving merchandise as part of a promotion, please visit the Merchandise Sales and Pickup table located in the Bier Garten after the run. If you purchased the buffet in advance, please get your buffet ticket from our volunteer when you pickup your items at check-in.
Breakfast Buffet:
If you purchased the breakfast buffet, please pickup your buffet ticket at packet pickup - please let the volunteer know you have purchased the buffet and they'll check the list. Please note, the buffet takes place prior to the run. If you wish to purchase a buffet Saturday, you may do so from a waiter or waitress for $15.00. Please note, you can still do an advance purchase buffet for $12.00 by logging into your active account.
Most importantly:
Have fun! We hope to put on a great event for you. We enjoy seeing you have fun. We also want to make sure you are safe. Please do not let a bad decision ruin a fun day. We ask that you do not drink and drive. Please obtain a DD for the day or find a volunteer and we'll be happy to call you a cab.
