Unfortunately, this event has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. We apologize for any inconvenience. Check back soon for a new date! Join us for a Ranger-led hike at South Mountain Park. Participants will explore the fascinating Sonoran Desert ecosystem, discovering the wonderful wildflowers that bloom and fill the landscape with the beautiful colors of springtime.We will begin at the South Mountain Visitor’s Center and hike for 2-3 miles along the Las Lomitas Trail. Along the way, we will learn about how these flowers have adapted to desert life and their vital role in this unique environment.Fitness Level: Moderate It is recommended to bring water, sunscreen, a hat and sturdy, closed-toed shoes.
We will meet at The South Mountain Visitors Center (10409 S. Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042) and depart on the hike by 9:00 am, please arrive a few minutes early to check-in and fill out an activity waiver. *Parking is limited, please park in the Activity Complex Parking area.

All participants must register. Any participant under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Parent/guardian must remain with their child for the entirety of the program.
The trails are uneven and would not be suitable for strollers.
No Pets, Please.
