Description
Join Jean-Guy Tanner Dubé, Architectural Historian at the State Office of Historic Preservation, for a walking tour of Reno's historic railroad buildings. The tour will begin with a look at the newly refreshed Interpretive Center inside the historic Southern Pacific Railroad Depot (aka the Amtrak Station) on E Commercial Row between University Way and Lake Street. Participants will walk to several nearby railroad buildings to learn how the railroad influenced Reno’s development. The walk will cover about a mile over flat terrain. The event is free, but space is limited.
