RHS Inaugural Milk Mile
Robertsdale, Alabama - February 15, 2013 1 of 8Ever wonder how many laps you could run with a belly full of milk in your tummy? Here's your chance. The RHS track team is hosting this unique race to help raise funds to cover its annual expenses. The race will be run in heats based on age groups and estimate mile time. Runners will drink 8 ounces of milk, chocolate or white, prior to each lap. A one-lap penalty will be issued to those who, ahem, can't keep the milk down.

Fort Collins, Colorado - April 21, 2013 4 of 8Runners in this new "hybrid" marathon will travel along nearly 22 miles of dirt paths through Horsetooth Mountain Park and Lory State Park before joining the half marathon course and finishing at New Belgium Brewery, where participants will be treated to live music and can endulge in food and New Belgium beverages. Prepare for a hilly course with a total gain of 2,000 feet and total loss of 2,600 feet of elevation.

Participants run through hot zones and "drenched" zones, where you may encounter slip n' slides, fire-hose spray, sprinkler zones and spectator "sniper zones." The Drenched 5K event is making its way to cities across the U.S., including Phoenix, Dallas-Fort Worth, Kansas City, Los Angeles and Washington D.C.
