10 All-Time Best Turkey Trot Costumes, Ranked

Written by
November is officially here, which mean the nation's favorite kind of 5K is just around the corner: the Turkey Trot. The number of trotters has been steadily increasing the past few years, and we don't expect that to stop anytime soon--especially with all those great costumes on the course.

If you've done one of these popular races, then you know all about the wacky dress-up options, but for newbies, trust us when we say running in holiday garb is an experience you don't want to miss.

There are so many creative options, from pie to yams to really fast pilgrims who certainly could've outrun diphtheria. And if you really feel like sticking to tradition, you can join the thousands of turkeys who run as, well, turkeys year after year.

Thanks to Pinterest, we've found tons of inspiration. Here are our favorites--ranked from okay to very best.
