Festivities begin with a three-day health expo at the Las Vegas Convention Center before race weekend. The 5K is Saturday–followed by a post-race concert, because of course. The main event—the marathon and half marathon—begins at sundown on Sunday and remains the only event to shut down the Las Vegas strip, which is transformed into an 11-mile portion of the course.
