The 2024 Santa Fun Run begins at 7 p.m. on Dec. 19 and winds through the United Way's beautiful Winter Lightfest. The run is a fundraiser for the Wylie Bulldogs Education Foundation and the United Way in partnership with Abilene Running Company. Run or walk through 3 million lights and help promote excellence in education at the same time! Strollers are welcome. No dogs please.
The course is just under 3 miles and goes through the Lightfest four times. T-shirts are no longer guaranteed.
The run will only be cancelled if weather conditions (ice or snow) make travel extremely dangerous. No refunds if event is cancelled.

Event details and schedule
Pick up packets at Abilene Running Co. from noon-6 p.m. on Dec. 18 or from noon to 5 p.m. on Dec. 19 or at the registration table 15-20 minutes before the Lightfest begins.
The race starts at 7:00 pm. Lighted parking is free. The gate will open at 6 p.m. The Fun Run will start and end close to the road on the right NOT at the Lightfest ticket box.
