Join the City of Agoura Hills and get a closer look at Cai Guo-Qiang: A Material Odyssey with USC PAM curator Dr. Rebecca Hall and guest curator Rachel Rivenc, Head of Conservation and Preservation at the Getty Research Institute. Explore objects from the museum’s collection that accompany the exhibition in the new PAM gallery and discover connections in how different cultures contemplate their relationship to the cosmos. The USC Pacific Asia Museum creates inspiring encounter with the arts, history and culture of Pacific Asia to promote intercultural understand in the service of elevating our shared sense of humanity.
Pacific Standard Time Art is a collection of exhibitions that explore some of the most urgent problems of our time through past and present connections between art and science in a series of exhibitions, public programs, and other resources. These exhibitions will explore “topics like ancient cosmologies, Indigenous sci-fi, environmental justice, and artificial intelligence”
