Instructor: Dennis Harkins was a teacher and technology specialist in schools in Pennsylvania for over 30 years. He was also an adjunct professor at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia and a member of the Philadelphia Area Computer Society. He has been with the Center’s Tech Section for over 15 years. Description: Learn to make the most of these versatile yet inexpensive tablets. Amazon has packed many features into the Fire tablet. Attendees explore the following features: access to entertainment such as books, movies, music, and games. Send and receive emails, download apps for endless opportunities, surf the web, and take pictures with the included camera. Also, the Alexa App allows you to set up the Echo device to respond to your commands and do much more than play music. Attendees must bring their Fire tablets.
