About this event
---Instructor: Frank D. Shutts II--- After a quick recap of Acting I Part I, the class takes a quick glance into acting Shakespeare to build skills in working with text. Then it’s onto the fundamentals of comedy (modern and classic) and comic monologues are assigned. Monologues are followed by assigned ten-minute comedies. In-class rehearsals then begin, leading up to main-stage performances on April 25 & 26 for an invited audience. (Actors should be prepared to keep the week of April 21-26 free.) Once plays are assigned, the class will focus on the actual process of mounting a production. *Teacher’s permission required to take this class if you have not taken the Part 1 class.
