The 2025 MATE ROV Competition culminates in the annual World Championship event where top teams from across the globe descend on Alpena, MI and deploy their custom robots to meet our mission challenge. PIONEER and EXPLORER class teams must register here to qualify. RANGER teams will be invited to register only after winning their regional qualifier, or for approved video demonstration qualification. The team will be created by the Coach / Lead Mentor during this registration process and the Coach pays the fee for team participation. No refunds allowed. No fees are charged for additional adult mentors and student team members who will then Join the Team created by the Coach by selecting the team name from group list. Please note that students under 18 years of age must be registered by a parent or adult guardian.
