MUSICAL THEATER INTENSIVE, The Sound of Music, Youth Edition, with The City Center Players
Join the City Center Players this Fall for one of the world’s most beloved musicals of all time. Featuring a trove of cherished songs, including “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” and the title number, The Sound of Music. Witness your child transition from the initial audition to a full-scale performance, equipped with professional lighting, sound, sets, props, and costumes. At each rehearsal, students will be engaged in mastering the music, choreography, and scenes from the show. Our standout feature is the City Center Players Children’s Theater experience. We pride ourselves on taking care of the whole production, so parents never have to volunteer. From detailed costumes to elaborate sets and props, we handle it all. Rehearsal Dates: Sep 10-Nov 7 (skip: Oct 15, Oct 31), Tue and Thu, 5:30-7pm, Tech Week: Nov 11th- Nov 14th (5:30-8pm), Performances: Nov 15th (7pm), Nov 16th (3pm).
