Grades: 5th-8th. Do you love to perform, and dream of being on stage? Now's your chance! We're casting for an exciting production called Jukebox Musical, which was written by one of your fellow students.
Auditioning is FREE, but pre-registration is required. Auditions will take place Tuesday, 1/28, 3:20pm-4:30pm in the AA Open Auditorium.
If you are assigned a part, rehearsals will begin in February (2 days/week for 1 hour/day), then a tech week (4 days of rehearsal for 2 hours/day), and two performances on a Saturday in April. Skills to be learned: acting and memorization techniques, improvisation, tone, pitch, vibrato, and breath control, and how to incorporate singing into acting and movement. Whether you're a seasoned performer or new to the stage, this is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your talent, be part of your school's drama community, and bring an incredible story to life! If you are assigned a part, a registration fee of $199 will be required and the link to register/pay will be emailed to you soon after the cast list is announced.
