Description
Grades: 10th - Adult. Get ready to stack up your style with a custom set of sterling silver rings! In this hands-on workshop, you'll master the art of measuring, soldering, and texturing different widths of sterling silver to create a stunning and personal design. Not only that, but you'll also learn how to set a beautiful cabochon gemstone like amethyst or garnet in the bezel setting provided. You will also make a ring using a larger stone and fabricate your own bezel setting. Your materials fee includes a 6mm garnet or amethyst for stackable rings, and all silver. Choices for larger cabochon will be available for purchase. Walk away with a one-of-a-kind set of rings that truly reflects your unique style and creativity. A $35 materials fee is due to the instructor at the start of the class which covers metals, studio supplies, and 1 stone. Additional stones will be available for purchase; Bring a sketchbook to class. Instructor: Idelle Hammond-Sass. 6 classes.
