Description
Grades: K-2nd. Embark on an inspiring journey through the beautiful and intricate world of Persian Miniatures, where art and storytelling blend seamlessly. Persian Miniatures are not just small paintings; they are a grand tradition of detailed and vibrant illustrations that capture tales of heroes, mystics, and ancient lore. Begin by exploring their rich history, and learn how these stunning artworks were created and why artists who mastered this craft were highly celebrated. With a favorite story or poem in mind, you will blaze your own artistic trail by using engraving techniques to etch your chosen narrative and then by using oil pastels to bring your engraved design to life. Ultimately, you will create a miniature masterpiece, a personal illustration that tells a story close to your heart, all while gaining a deep appreciation for a treasured art form. Join us for this "mini" adventure! Instructor: Doodles Academy staff. 6 classes.
