Description
Adult. Enjoy cinema from around the globe and absorb some cultural history! Watch a themed series of movies exploring a cinematic style, region or concept, and engage in discussion. Foreign language movies are subtitled. No need to be an expert: everyone is welcome! Stream movies on your own and join an online video conference to discuss. You will need high-speed access to the Internet, an Amazon account (not the Prime service), and devices that will allow you to stream movies and video conference. Instructor will provide a film schedule before activity begins. Note: Last date to register is Fri 2/21. Instructor: Mark Ziemba, former editor of arts and entertainment magazine Current. 5 classes.
Please note, this is a virtual/online class that can be accessed from a computer, tablet, or smartphone. To fully participate, you will need access to the Internet during the class time, and a built in camera/microphone on your device or a webcam so that you can communicate with the instructor in real time.
