Description
Adult. DEMO. Dive into the flavors of India with our Dal Tadka workshop, where you’ll learn to make this comforting and aromatic lentil dish that’s a staple in Indian households. Dal Tadka is naturally gluten-free and made with perfectly cooked lentils infused with a fragrant tempering of spices. In this interactive session, you’ll master the art of balancing flavors, preparing the tempering (tadka), and learning tips to elevate this dish to restaurant quality. Along the way, you’ll also get to know many basics of Indian cooking, making it a perfect session for beginners and seasoned cooks alike. You’ll also have the opportunity to taste what we make and take home a serving to share with family or friends, along with a recipe to recreate this dish in your own kitchen. Bring a container to take home some delicious food! Instructor: Namrata Khemka. 1 class.
Dal Tadka is gluten free & can be made Vegan too.
