Description
Grade 9th - Adult. Learn to make jewelry with Designer and Metalsmith Idelle Hammond-Sass. Idelle will introduce design concepts, show historical jewelry and Sculptural forms, and demonstrate soldering, roller printing, cold connections, forming, etching and enameling in her well-equipped studio. Samples using these techniques will be shown. Students are encouraged to design their own jewelry projects based on their skill level and interests. A $35 materials fee is due to the instructor at the start of the class which covers metals and studio supplies; additional sterling silver or stones are available to purchase as needed. Bring a sketchbook to class. Instructor: Idelle Hammond-Sass. 5 classes.
