10th grade - Adult. Want to learn how to play one of the fastest-growing sports in the country? Whether you're a beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, our experienced instructor will guide you through the fundamentals of the game, including rules, techniques, and strategies. The "Introduction to Pickleball" class is tailored for students who are interested in learning the fundamentals of playing pickleball. During the class, students will be taught various technical skills, including forehand and backhand groundstrokes, serves, lobs, overheads, dinks, and proper footwork. In addition, students will have the opportunity to understand the basic rules, strategies, and court positioning necessary for doubles play. Wear comfortable clothing and athletic footwear. Instructor: Karel Gatlin. 6 classes. (2/26 reserved for makeup class).
