Description
Kick off the fall season with friends as we travel to the historic Grandfather Mountain State Park in the heart of the Blue Ridge Parkway. This 300-million-year-old mountain rises high above the surrounding landscape, offering breathtaking colorful views during Peak Leaf season, an animal habitat self-guided tour, a (buffet) lunch, and a shuttle to the Linville Peak to experience the famous Mile High Swinging Bridge. On the trip home we will enjoy the colors as travel along the Blue Ridge Parkway to Alta Pass Orchards, nestled along the side of the mountains, offering us another breathtaking view and a chance to grab some wonderful apples. Walking Level: This trip will include moderate walking and some stairs. Fee includes: Tour, Soup, Salad and Sandwich Buffet lunch, dessert, Mile high bridge and tour Deluxe motor coach transportation
