In this class, students will learn the basics of watercolors by practicing specific techniques while exploring various subjects. During this class, we will practice washes, layering, resist techniques, and mixing colors. This is a true beginner's class so no experience is required, all are welcome.
Students may pay a $15 supply fee to rent supplies for the duration of the class, or may buy their supplies with the recommended materials listed below.
Materials List (reccommended) Paints-Sakura Koi (pan or tube) -Prang 12 pan set -Winsor and Newton Cotman tube set Brushes -Round brushes sizes 2, 4, 6, 8, Flat brush size 10-Blick Economy Sable Brush -Creative Inspirations (Jerry Artarama)
Paper -Strathmore 400 series pad
Mixing Palette -Needed if you have a tube set, recommend one with lid
