Continue practicing the fundamentals of jewelry making in this course! Perfect for beginners and intermediates alike, this class is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to jewelry making, from basic techniques to more advanced skills. For the intermediate students there will be a greater emphasis on self-directed projects.
Introduction to Jewelry making will include:
- An overview of tools, safety procedures, materials and techniques
- Techniques for stringing beads, sawing, filing and sanding metal
- Overview of beading materials and tools
- Basic wire work techniques, including wire wrapping and weaving
- Sawing, piercing and soldering wire and sheet
Throughout the course, students will learn about jewelry design principles, including composition, color theory, and balance, while experimenting with different materials and techniques to create their own unique jewelry pieces.
Whether you are looking to start a new hobby or create beautiful gifts for your loved ones, this course will give you the skills and confidence to make your own stunning jewelry!
