FREE FALL CLEAN UP
Early November (exact dates to be determined)City of Beaver Dam residents, ages 50 & over, can get those fall clean up chores done before the snow flies! Our friends at the Walmart Distribution Center will come to your home and do these chores for you for FREE!
Pre-registration is REQUIRED no later than Wednesday, October 23. To register, call the Recreation Department Customer Service at 920-887-4639 ext. 703 (do NOT call the Walmart Distribution Center!).
All clean up projects will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Homeowners will be contacted by a member of the Walmart Team to advise them of the date and time frame the clean up will be done. Homeowners do NOT need to be present during this time. As much as the team appreciates the offer, they cannot accept gratuities or gifts, so please do not offer it to them or be offended by their refusal.
The Walmart Team CAN DO the following:
- rake and blow leaves
- clean 1st story gutters and exterior windows (must be within ladder-reach)
- move lawn furniture in for the winter at the owner's risk
The Walmart Team WILL BRING:
- rakes, leaf blowers, 8' ladders and gloves
- water and food for themselves for the day
The Walmart Team is NOT ABLE to do the following:
- bag the leaves, haul them to the dump or burn them
- trim trees
- clean 2nd story gutters or windows or anything above 8' ladder-reach
- go onto the roof
- clean up animal waste
- clean up estate lawns (very large properties)
