A Fist Full of Sounds
Plum Creek Nature Center • 27064 Dutton Rd. Beecher, IL 60401 Organized by Forest Preserve District of Will CountyAbout this event
Description
We're sorry, but this program is over. The last meeting was Thursday, April 10, 2025.
Did you hear that? From birds to bugs, the forest makes a lot of different noises, and we will discover them all. Why does a frog ribbit? What noises does a grasshopper make? Can you imitate the sound of a bird? We hope to learn all this as well as a little bit more about what makes those animals buzz. The program will take place both indoors and outside; please dress for the weather. Plum Creek Nature Center is an accessible facility. Outdoor activities may take place on natural surfaces across uneven terrain.
Ages 5-12. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
If you have any questions, please call us at 815-722-9879.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
