Description
The annual catch and release Senior Fishing Derby is being held this year at our beautiful Bicentennial Park on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024. This is a fun FREE event sponsored by the Belleville Parks & Recreation Department for seniors ages 55+. Registration is REQUIRED for each person participating.
Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. and the fishing from 10:00am - 11:45am. Prizes will be given for various types of catches, including the "Most Unusual Catch" of the day. Participants will need to bring their own pole and bait. All participants MUST have a valid fishing license. An awards ceremony will be after the fishing at 12:00pm. Hot dogs, chips and a drink will be provided for the participants.
