Tonight enjoy, "Hiking the Medieval Villages of Georgia and the Caucasus Mountains" by Ken Harrison
Join us for a travelogue through the medieval villages of Svaneti which is probably the most beautiful region of Georgia. All those stunning photos of historical stone villages, lush green valleys and snow-covered mountains... most of them were taken here. We hiked from village to village along the base of the Caucasus Mountain range through fields of wildflowers, rushing rivers, and rugged terrain. The development of tourism in Georgia was for a long time hampered by instability but those times seem to be finally over, and the country is quickly opening to the world.
This is a drop-in program. No need to register.
