Description
The Lunar New Year, also known as Chinese New Year or Spring Festival, starts this week. Join us today as we head to Seattle’s International District. Our first stop is the Wing Luke Museum, a Smithsonian Institution affiliate and the only pan-Asian Pacific American community-based museum in the US. Here we’ll enjoy a tour and explore the exhibits before heading to lunch at a nearby Chinatown restaurant. We’ll end our day with one last stop at Uwajimaya, the iconic PNW destination to experience Asian food and culture.
Pre-registration is required.
Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Dress weather appropriately and wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring money for food and any purchases. We will be traveling in a 12-passenger van.
