Getting in the Holiday Spirit – McHenry Mansion & Duarte Poinsettias We’ll be getting into the holiday spirit on this interesting day trip. First we will have a docent-led tour of the McHenry Mansion in Modesto. This historic home was built in 1883 and will be decked out in holiday decor. We will also have time to kick off some holiday shopping in the unique gift shop filled with ornaments, cards, table covers, gingerbread houses, and more! Next we’ll be ready to enjoy lunch (included). Our last stop of the day will be at Duarte Poinsettias Nursery where they grow over 60,000 plants each year. You’ll be amazed at their selection of over 30 varieties and colors. After a short tour, you’ll have time to explore and shop. Trip sign-in will begin at 8 AM.
