Let’s explore Oakland! Oakland's Paramount Theatre is one of the finest remaining examples of Art Deco design in the United States. Restored to its original splendor, meticulously maintained, and fully upgraded to modern technical standards, this Historic Landmark now serves all the arts. We will have a guided tour of the theatre. Next we’ll stop for a nostalgic-feeling lunch at Fenton’s Creamery. We will spend the afternoon at the Oakland Museum of California where you’ll have time on your own to explore the California Art, California History, and California Natural Sciences Galleries.
