Description
Trips for Kids is a program that serves our youth ages 10 - 17 by providing them workshops to learn about nutrition, health, bike safety, bike riding tips, and keeping our environment safe and clean when on trails. This is a FREE experience.
At the end of each program, we will have a mountain bike ride for all participants to put to use what they learned over the first 3 workshops. Bikes and Lunches are provided for the day of the ride. Volunteers and Bike Enthusiasts are welcome to come join and help with these rides and/or work shops. Please e-mail OutdoorFun@drd.us.com for more information.
Transportation is provided for this activity.
REGISTRATION NOTE: Enrollment for all outdoor adventures opens 6-8 weeks prior to the trip date.
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST ATTEND WORK SHOPS AT SELECTED SITES IN ORDER TO REGISTER FOR THE RIDE AND HAVE ALL BASIC INFORMATION NEEDED LEADING UP TO RIDE.
