Screen Printing for Teens: Grades 6 – 12
Instructor: Melissa Detloff
Learn the basics of screen printing and use your own designs to create multiple prints on paper and t-shirts. In this course, students will create a series of single and multi-color prints primarily on paper while learning the potential of screen printing as a means of artistic expression for creating editions, monoprints, and artist books / zines. Students will also have the opportunity to screen print their own T-shirt. Guided by their own interests, ideas, and images, students will investigate the printing process, exploring different methods to bring their vision to life on paper.
