Drawing: Botanical Art Workshop with Watercolor - Autumn LeavesInstructor: Barbara HolmerBotanical Art is an art form that combines scientificaccuracy with artistic sensitivity.Starting a leaf library in a sketchbook format will serve as a reference guide as you practice drawing leaf structures and color matching using a variety of watercolor techniques. Subjects will be provided.Bring your sketchbook and watercolor suppliesand a snack or lunch.
Prerequisite: Students should have previous experience with basic watercolor techniques.

GENERAL SUPPLIES:water container (s) (Talenti Sorbet/Gelato is perfect!)lint free cloth or paper toweling (Viva plain texture)artists tape 1/2”mechanical pencil HB size .5 or .7 (found in office stores or art stores: Nothing fancy!)kneaded and/or white plastic eraser such as Staedtler-Mars
BRUSHES:-your favorite round brushes size 2 and 4 that have a good pointOR-Utrecht Series 228 Sablette size 2 and 4OR-Princeton Series 4050R (Heritage) round pointed size 2 and 4OR-Da Vinci Cosmotop Spin size 2 and 4
PALETTE:white porcelain or plastic palette with at least 6 compartments
